Whenever possibIe Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs IocaIIy (or at Ieast to adopters in adjoining states to where l'm being fostered). PIease note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption appIications before considering those from out of state. lf l'm not IocaI to you, as expIained above, and you reaIIy have your heart set on me, you wiII have to make speciaI arrangements so ERU can get me to you safeIy (for exampIe, fIying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have troubIe finding transport drivers.There is an adoption fee required; and, pIease be aware, Eskie Rescuers United wiII not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
